How do I create an account (profile)?

When you open our app, you will see the login page. At the bottom of the page there is a link to "Create Account".

Tap on it and fill in at least the fields that are mandatory (those with an asterisk) - and tap on "Create Account".

You will soon receive an email with a PIN code that you will need to log in for the first time.

Check your spam filter if you cannot find the email.

Go back to the login page and enter your email and the password you chose. You will now see an image where you must enter your PIN code. This is only necessary the first time, unless you activate 2-factor login (requires membership).

How do I create Items for my codes?

Once you have received your code - such as a sticker, key ring, tag or similar - you must associate it with a device in our app by scanning it. You can also simply choose to activate it (see below) so that it is associated with your user and cannot be used by others.

REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST SCAN FROM WITHIN THE APP WHEN YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE AND ASSIGN YOUR CODES!

You can do this in two ways (in the app):

Scan the code and create the device
Create the device and associate the code
1. Scan the code in the app

If your device has not yet been created, the quickest way is to simply scan the code in the app. You MUST NOT scan it with the camera outside the app. Press the "Scan" button at the bottom of the screen and choose whether you want to scan a QR code or an NFC chip.

Once you have scanned the code, you will be given the option to create a device or associate it with an existing device. You can also simply choose to activate the code - then others cannot use it.

2. Create the device first in the app

You can create a device under "Devices" in the app. Here you choose which type it should be and enter the information that needs to be used.

Once the device is created, you can choose to associate a code from the device. Then the scanner will open and you can scan the code. If you don't have your code yet, you can simply scan it later and associate it with your device.

Test if it works

Once your code is associated with a device, you can test it by scanning it with your camera or NFC reader OUTSIDE THE APP. This way you simulate what others would do if they, for example, found your keys.

You can then, for example, send a message to yourself.

If you scan the code inside the app, you can see which device it is associated with.

I forgot my password

You can reset your password by clicking "I forgot my password" on the front page of our app (where you log in).

Enter the email account you use with Zmart ID - we will send you an email with a link where you can register a new code.

Remember to check your spam filter if you cannot find the email.

How do I purchase membership?

In our webshop you can buy membership.

Once you have purchased the membership, you will receive an email with a PIN code that you must enter in the app.

You do this on the "More" page under the item "Register membership".

We are working on making it simpler, but for now this is the method we can offer.

Can I change my e-mail?

Yes, you can soon. Our system is designed for it, but unfortunately we haven't made it ready in the first version of the app. It should be absolutely safe.

It should preferably be from the email account that is registered with us, but if you have lost connection to it, we will figure it out together.
