You can create a profile for free and activate your products with codes.

You can write some of your information in the message, but be careful if it is, for example, keys, as others may be able to figure out where the keys fit.

We have planned to add the option to display selected information for each device. For example, you can display your name, email or phone number for some devices.

Anyone can scan your active codes with their mobile camera.

When an active code is scanned, a page opens in a browser where your message is displayed, and the person can, for example, send you a message. It does not require installing an app.

If you want to test it, try scanning one of your codes with the camera WITHOUT having the app open. That way you will see what others will see.

If you already have the app, the experience will be better.

Yes, you can - but remember to scan the code and activate it in the app BEFORE you put it on. It's a bit difficult to scan the code when it's stuck on your mobile phone 😉

BUT: If you lose your mobile, you won't be able to see the messages from someone who finds it unless you have the app on another device (e.g. an iPad).

SUGGESTION: Write the phone number of another person in your message. Then someone who scans it can send a message or call.

FUTURE: We are adding the option for you to add an additional user who will be notified if your codes are scanned. This will also make it easier to handle lost mobile phones.

Some of our products have both a QR code and an NFC chip.

Most people are familiar with the QR code, and know that it can be scanned with the camera. Our codes open a special website (with a web app), which depends on a very long code that is in the QR code.

The NFC chip is "electronic". Most people know it from payment terminals and "chips" for doors. It can contain various information, and ours contains, among other things, the very long code that the QR code also does.

An NFC chip is read with the mobile phone's built-in NFC reader, which is also used to pay contactlessly with the phone, for example.

If you want to scan a ZMART ID product with an NFC chip, you just have to put the phone close to it (the reader is usually located by the camera, so place that part by the code).

NOTE: If you put a ZMART ID key ring with NFC chip in your pocket, along with your mobile phone, you may find that the mobile phone reads the code without you noticing. Then a notification will appear on your mobile phone!
